The Format Concert Live at Newport Music Hall | Columbus
If you’re into catching live music in Columbus, Newport Music Hall is pretty much a must-visit spot, especially if you want that genuine concert vibe. It’s got this cool reputation for not just hosting big-name acts like Twenty One Pilots and The Smashing Pumpkins, but also for its unique merch, including exclusive band gear that you won’t find anywhere else. The place feels like a second home to music fans, with a laid-back atmosphere that makes you forget you’re in a busy city. Over the years, Newport Music Hall has become a hub for everything from indie gigs to jazz nights, like their popular Columbus Jazz Celebration which really shows off the venue’s versatility. The energy is contagious, especially when the standing-room-only zones fill up and everyone gets a little more rowdy. Plus, there’s plenty of great spots along Main Street to grab a quick bite before the show, think pizza slices or tacos, and if you’re coming from the old neighborhood, just head north on High Street and then down toward the venue. Honestly, The Format Columbus does a great job of showcasing the magic that this historic hall brings to the local music scene, making each visit feel like a special event.
